Dear friends,

This is a particularly auspicious time for the opening of the FMRC. We hope that the age of peace between Israel and our Arab neighbors, for which we work and pray, will allow the people of Israel to be able to devote most of its resources to human needs.

Medical research is surely one of the most important of these endeavors, and the Felsenstein Medical Research Center, with its gifted scientists and advanced facilities, will serve as a focus of innovative and creative research aimed at curing disease and improving the quality of life for Israelis and all mankind.

My blessings and gratitude go to Kupat Holim and to those who have made the Felsenstein Medical Research Center a reality.
